Looks like the authentication servers will be undergoing some maintenance this evening, March 16th from 11pm PST/2am EST to 1am PST/4am EST. Here's the full announcement: Ralvorinn We'll be performing maintenance on our authentication services this evening which may impact the ability to log in for some players. The maintenance will begin at 11:00 PM PDT, March 16 and last until approximately 1:00 AM PDT, March 17.

Frozen orbs to be greed only in patch 3.3.3
Well, this is a welcome change -- now that Frozen Orbs are going to be the new crafting tokens, exchangeable for Frost Lotus and Eternal Fire , among other things, Wryxian announced that they will be greed only in the upcoming patch.

Blizzard has released a rather detailed look into a new feature coming in Cataclysm that we first heard about at BlizzCon 2009 -- the mastery system. The system will "allow players to become better at what makes their chosen talent tree cool or unique." Mastery bonuses are passive and are tied to each talent tree for every class

Patch 3.3.3 PTR: User interface updates
Blizzard has added some major and minor improvements for the user interface in their minor content patch of 3.3.3 . Some of these include the addition of a random battleground finder , a holiday boss random dungeon group, as well as others. It is still early in the patch process, so some of these things may undergo more changes as it works its way along
